Participating in National 4th of July Stand Day, David and Michael Bott of Noblesville, with the help of their parents, will run their own stand this weekend to raise money for charity.

The first annual 4th of July Stand Day aims to introduce children to raising money to charity, and the Botts have chosen to donate the profits from their stand to Riley Children’s Hospital of Indianapolis.

“We have asked some local bakeries to donate some baked goods for this sale and some local retailers for some lemonade, cups and other paper goods to help with our sale,” said Tammy Bott, the boys’ mother. ” Walmart has allowed us to set up in front of their
store to sell our baked goods and lemonade.  Classic Cakes of Carmel is donating some baked goods.”

David and Michael Bott will open their stand Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. at the south entrance of the Walmart in Noblesville, 16865 Clover Road. They will operate the stand until all food is sold.
