It is pleasurable to read Current, and your (Danielle Wilson’s) column is my very favorite piece!
I do not wish to “fuel a fire,” but in response to the letter-writer who demanded an apology for your so-called “name-calling against Christians,” I find your reflections on religion (and many other topics) candid, refreshing and properly shrill (to use your critic’s word). I am a 70-year-old retired clergyman (happily quite liberal theologically!) and a grandfather to eight grandkids whose ages are similar to your children, and I delight in your wonderful down-to-earth observations and viewpoints about motherhood, family life, travel, church, etc.
Keep up the good work! Know you are appreciated! And be at peace!!!!!
