Legacy Fund Community Foundation, a CICF affiliate, has awarded a $3,000 grant to Hamilton County Parks and Recreation Department to help stage two of its popular musical concert series, the department recently announced. The concert series held in two county parks are enjoyed by thousands of music and nature enthusiasts throughout Hamilton County.
Legacy Fund has been an annual supporter of the concert series through the Community Endowment Fund, created and supported by donors throughout the county to make grants to organizations that provide services and programming in Hamilton County. The Cool Creek Concert Series has received $44,000 in grants since 2000.
“We are delighted to support programs that provide Hamilton County residents an opportunity to enjoy culture and community and experience these wonderful outdoor amenities at the same time,” said Terry Anker, President of Legacy Fund. “These are family-oriented events that help make living here special.”
The line-ups have been set for the Cool Creek “In Concert with Nature” Series and the Coxhall Gardens “Concerts in the Centerpiece”, both events presented by St. Vincent Carmel Hospital.
