Carmel Marathon temporary road closures and Fitness Expo

carmel marathon logo 2012 21There will be several temporary road closures and delays this Saturday, April 21st as the second annual Carmel Marathon events come to town.

Please note that as part of the Carmel Marathon weekend, a Fitness Expo will take place where participants can pick up their race info and packets and non-participants can learn about the latest developments in sports, fitness and nutrition. The Fitness Expo is free and open to the public at the Monon  Community Center on Friday, April 20th from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

This event brought almost 3,000 participants from 45 states for the inaugural event last year. The organizers report increased attendance and interest this year. If you are not participating, watch for runners and walkers and cheer them on!
