Mansfield to visit ZUMC this weekend

Friday through Sunday, the Zionsville United Methodist Church will host “Ken Mansfield – The Beatles, the Bible and Beyond.”

Ken Mansfield, the former U.S. manager of Apple Records, a man deep inside The Beatles phenomenon, has a story to tell of his long and winding road through the pop music industry from the 1960s through the 1990s.

Not only were the Fab Four his associates, he also produced country outlaw Waylon Jennings and the Grammy- and Dove-Award-winning “Gaither Homecoming” album, which launched a huge franchise in gospel music. His first book, “The Beatles, the Bible and Bodega Bay,” was named by amazon.com as “one of the top three Beatles books ever written.”

Saturday– 7 a.m.
Men’s breakfast at ZUMC

Saturday– 7 p.m.

Worship service at ZUMC (Ken will be a guest)

He is the author of “The White Book” and “Between Wyomings.”Mansfield’s upcoming fourth book deals with his experience and wisdom gained while living with inoperable bone cancer.
