IU Health North’s Goble named new Saxony CEO

IU Health announced Thursday that Jonathan Goble, president and CEO of IU Health North Hospital and regional executive for IU Health Tipton Hospital, has accepted the additional responsibility of serving as CEO of IU Health Saxony Hospital.

Goble will take over for outgoing IUHealthSaxonyHospitalCEO Philip M. Dulberger, M.D., who was announced as the new CEO of IU Health Quality Partners. Goble will lead all three hospitals on their mission to improve the health of the community.

Dulberger was a key player in creating the clinically integrated statewide physician network in 2008. IU Health Quality Partners now includes more than 2,000 physicians acrossIndiana.

“Phil has a successful track record of providing the vision and leadership to launch new organizations that improve patient care,” said John Fitzgerald, president and CEO of IU Health Physicians. “He most recently demonstrated that with the successful opening of IU Health’s cardiovascular and orthopedic specialty hospital in Fishers, IU Health Saxony. We are pleased to invite him back to lead IU Health Quality Partners.”

A board-certified anesthesiologist in private practice in theIndianapolisarea since 1994, Dulberger graduated fromWabashCollegeand Indiana University School of Medicine. He served his internship year at IU Health Methodist Hospital and completed his anesthesia residency atDukeUniversityMedicalCenter.
