Young Indiana filmmaker aims to inspire Generation Y

21-year old Carmel resident, Alex Hall, has written an original screenplay called Methods of Revolution. The feature length movie will be cast and shot this summer in Indiana.

Hall says he will release the movie online in November 2012—for free. He states, “The movie has a very powerful message about my generation. I want anyone who wants to see the movie to have access to it.”

Hall will not receive any income from the movie. He has already secured the equipment and is raising funds for the remaining production expenses for actors, sets/locations, and other production costs through kickstarter.com, a crowd-funding platform for creative projects.  As of today, he only has 12 days left to reach his goal.

Recently, one of his written works, Jadusable, an interactive online story, gained over 6 million views. Hall’s production, Normal, was a winner at The Indianapolis 48 Hour Film Project, earning Best Screenplay, Best Male Lead and Best Music.

Methods of Revolution follows four graduating students in their early 20s as they reach a similar realization about their lives:  they feel like they aren’t living up to their potential. As their lives push them towards a path they never expected, the four begin a life-changing journey to find a greater purpose in life.
