Fishers Junior High School exhibited its first annual International Fair May 25. More than 60 countries are represented by FJHS students or their parents.

In celebration, students decorated a door for every country and made individual projects for display during the school day and when the fair was opened up to the public that evening.

The International Fair came to fruition after the Hamilton South Eastern Schools Foundation awarded the school a grant for the purchase a National Geographic Mural Map and flags for each of the 64 countries represented at the school.

Maureen Randall, a social studies teacher at FJHS and project leader, said the school hopes to continue the event, which featured food and music, next year.
