Resident thankful for first responders’ actions

Dear editor,

On July 4, I suffered a full cardiac arrest at the Noblesville Fireworks Festival and Car Show. Due to the quick and professional actions of our Noblesville Fire Dept. and paramedics, I am able to send this letter of appreciation.

I do not know all the paramedics’ names, but I want to thank paramedic James Macky for his expert actions at the scene. Special thanks to Division Chief Rick Russell! He was on the scene immediately and began his relentless lifesaving CPR even before the EMT arrival. Thanks also to Riverview Hospital ER and its expert team of cardiologists for their immediate lifesaving procedures.

Noblesville should be very proud of the dedicated group of first responders, and I know I am alive only because of them.

Forever grateful,

Ron Francis
