Artichoke Designs to join Chateau Design Center

At the end of this month, Artichoke Designs will have a new home, and Bob and Brynn Moore, owners of the Chateau Design Center, will have a new partner.

The full-service interior decorating company, which has operated on the corner of Rangeline Road and Main Street in downtown Carmel for the last seven years, is forming a “synergistic partnership” with the Chateau Design Center,301 E. Carmel Dr., according to Artichoke owner Vicky Earley.

“We worked on a project together, and found that our vision was so similar, our approach to design … the way with interact with clients was symbiotic.”

Chateau co-owner Bob Moore said he’s excited for Artichoke to come fully onboard, expected to happen Aug. 31.

“We think the synergies are wonderful,”Mooresaid. “We’ve worked with Artichoke on some dream homes that have worked out beautifully. We believe that, working together, we can grow both of the businesses and serve our clients.”

Artichoke will bring its design staff onboard as well, bringing the total number of design professionals at the Chateau to 12. Artichoke’s retail offerings, including lamps – a popular item, according to Early – will also be returning at its new location.

A showroom currently inhabited by Artichoke at240 W. Main Street will remain open by appointment only.

Earley and the Moores said they’re excited to be able to offer a much fuller range of services.

“Where they leave off, we come in,” Earley said.
