Two arrested on drug charges in Carmel

On Sept. 5, the Hamilton/Boone County Drug Task Force served a search warrant on a residence in the 100 block of York Drive in connection with an ongoing two-month investigation. During the search, detectives recovered suspected heroin, suboxone, hydrocodone and drug paraphernalia.

This investigation resulted in the arrest of Jonathon Fahey, 24, on three counts of dealing in a controlled substance, a class B felony, and his mother, Dawn Fahey, 43, for a possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony. Both were transported to the Hamilton County Jail.

The Hamilton/Boone County Drug Task Force consists of officers from the Carmel Police Department,Fishers Police Department, Lebanon Police Department, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and Zionsville Police Department with support from the Hamilton and Boone County Prosecutor’s offices.
