Gwen O’Malley has been named primary care executive director at Community Physician Network. She moves into this new leadership role after serving as a group practice director for the organization. O’Malley will partner with providers and staff to foster growth of primary care and develop programs that will enhance services and expertise in a patients-first care environment.

“Gwen brings a wealth of experience, building practices and services, to keep the local community in the best health possible,” said Tony Javorka, chief operating officer at Community Physician Network. “She is an integral member of our executive team, connecting and guiding Community’s providers in their delivery of patients-first care.”

O’Malley has a bachelor of science degree from St. Mary of the Woods College and a master’s degree from Indiana University. Prior to coming to Community in 2010, she was director of operations for specialty care at St. Francis Medical Group. She has also served as an administrator for IU Medical Center Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
