Once again on Election Day there were glitches and delays in voting that can be directly attributable to Kathy Richardson’s oversight as the Hamilton County Elections Administrator. To have all the county’s voting machines programmed to the “demo” setting shows a clear need for a better administrator in that position. This glitch, while a different one, is part of a pattern of preventable problems with each election cycle. The efficiency of the early voting process that I personally experienced does not negate the wait times that other voters experienced on Nov. 6. Ms. Richardson needs to step aside and allow the selection of a better administrator.
