On Jan. 17, the Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation Dept. was presented with Awards of Excellence for three of its parks and programs at the Indiana Park and Recreation Association annual conference in Bloomington. Awards included a Park Development award for Central Park East Woods, 1235 Central Park Dr., a Program award for the Monon Community Center Table Tennis Club and another Program award for the Monon Community Center’s Adaptive Flowrider.
