Jon Leon Trietsch, 75, of Home Place, died Feb. 13. He was born on Dec. 7, 1937, the son of Wayne and Jeanette Kinzer Trietsch.
He was a letter carrier for the Carmel Post Office before retiring. Jon also was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. He was a longtime board member of the Carmel Cemetery and a member of the Indy Feral.
Jon is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Haskett Trietsch; daughter, Beverly (husband, Dan); son, Jon (wife, Monica) and daughter, Annie; grandsons, Ryan and Jonathan; sister, Joan Ball (husband, William) and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held recently in the White Chapel Church, 5155 E. 116th St. Burial followed in Carmel Cemetery. The family requests in lieu of flowers that contributions be directed to St.Vincent Hospice, 8450 Payne Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46268.
