An estimated $140,000 of additional construction work is scheduled to take place at the Palladium later this month.
The construction includes work being done to the roof structure including retrofits to trusses. The work is estimated to be completed over a three week period. The work is estimated to be completed in about three weeks and was recommended during a review taking place as part of the ongoing litigation resulting from construction issues that were discovered in June 2009. Sheil Sexton will manage the project on behalf of the Carmel Redevelopment Commission. According to the city, payments will be made on the project with funds retained from the original project.
The construction is not planned to effect the Palladium’s upcoming performance calendar.
