The recording industry icon will perform her greatest hits in a live performance complete with elaborate costumes and dramatic stage lighting. Ross has had a profound influence on American popular culture. She is an Academy Award-nominated actress for her role as Billie Holiday in “Lady Sings The Blues,” a Tony and Golden Globe winner, a bestselling author, winner of eight American Music Awards and a recipient of The Kennedy Center Honors.
Ross has sold more than 100 million records and has recorded 18 No. 1 hits. Her music became the sound of young America in the ‘60s, soon after she signed with Motown Records in 1961 with The Supremes. She embarked on her solo career in 1970. Ross was inducted in to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Supremes. In 1993, the Guinness Book of World Records declared Ross the most successful female music artist in history due to her success in the United States and United Kingdom for having more hits than any female artist in the charts with a career total of 70 hit singles.
