Each year the Carmel Fire Department helps families in need of assistance with food and or toys.
This year the department is looking for volunteers to help sponsor families or help with deliveries of the food and gifts. Sponsors are needed for the families from now until Dec. 10th.
Volunteers will be needed to deliver food and toys at 9 a.m. Dec. 14th at the main fire station at 2 Civic Square across from city hall.
If anyone has any questions or they are interested in helping local families in need, they can call 571-2690 ext.7000. Potential volunteers can also visit the city’s website (Carmel.in.gov) and go to the fire department’s tab under Christmas Assistance Program to find out more information.
