The Youth America Grand Prix is the largest international student ballet scholarship competition and its regional competitions in the United States and abroad serve as qualifying rounds for the international New York Finals held in April 2014.
The competition was held over two days at the IU Auditorium in Bloomington before a panel of internationally distinguished judges.
33 IBC students, 7 of them soloists, have qualified to compete on an international stage and represent IBC, and Indiana, amongst top ballet schools from around the world at the Youth America Grand Prix Finals in April.
The conservatory’s artistic director, Alyona Yakovleva-Randall, is thrilled that the students have continued to achieve such wonderful success due to their dedication and professionalism.
