INDOT crews expect to close 131st Street/Main Street on either side of U.S. 31 beginning Monday. This closure is expected to remain in place until the fall and will stretch to Illinois Street to the west and Pennsylvania Street to the east. During the closure, crews will begin construction of an interchange over U.S. 31 and motorists will not have access to/from U.S. 31 via 131st Street/Main Street.
During construction, access will remain available at the 131st Street/Pennsylvania Street intersection until construction begins on the roundabout later this spring.
