INDOT contractors plan to restrict traffic lanes on Michigan Road near I-465 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. March 27 and 28.
The crews will be installing fiber optic cable on the I-465 bridge over Michigan Road and will require alternating lane restrictions on northbound and southbound lanes throughout both days.
INDOT is asking drivers to practice safe habits in highway work zones. Following work zone speed limits, maintaining safe distances from other vehicles and avoiding distractions promotes safety for both highway workers and motorists.
