Kathryn M. Bittinger, 88, died May 29, 2014 at her daughter’s home in Carmel, surrounded by her family. Born May 15, 1926 in Dravosburg, Penn., she was the daughter of Fredrick and Clara (Abels) Shaffer.
She worked as a Bookkeeper for Tri-County Mental Health (now Behavior Corp). She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and the Noblesville Senior Citizens.
Survivors include her daughter, Patty (Roger) Mansfield; son, Kevin Bittinger; grandson, Josh Bittinger; great-grandson, Elijah Bittinger; sister, Jean Moyle; and seven grand-dogs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy K. Bittinger in 1994; one brother; and one sister.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. June 4, 2014 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 20650 Cumberland Rd., Noblesville, with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Doug Gast will officiate. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
