Hamilton County Emergency Management and Fishers Fire and Emergency Services assessing storm damage from 6.10.2014

Hamilton County Emergency Management in conjunction with Fishers Fire and Emergency Services are continuing to investigate storm related damage which took place Tuesday evening.  Residents notified Public Safety of slight damage to homes and trees from a weather event which took place approximately 9:45pm.  Hamilton County Emergency Management working with Fishers Fire and Emergency Services and Fishers Police Department made contact with residents in the 126th and Raider’s Boulevard area after receiving notification of an event producing damage throughout the area.

Hamilton County Emergency Management and Fishers Fire and Emergency Services will be back out in the area early in the morning to continue assessing damage from the event.  The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has been made aware of the situation and will be working to assess what took place.  Damage throughout the area was very minor to homes and property, some trees are down in the area.  In communication with the National Weather Service at the time of the storm there were no active alerts for the area affected.

 No injuries have been reported as a result of the cells which moved through the Hamilton County area.

Hamilton County Emergency Management and Fishers Fire and Emergency Services will continue to work with the National Weather Services on what took place as information continues to develop.
