Fabric retailer Hancock Fabrics, headquartered in Baldwyn, Miss., will open a new store in the Merchant Square Shopping Center, Carmel, Ind., on this Saturday, Aug. 16.
Hancock Fabrics’ new format stores are designed with a focus on delivering excellent customer service. The new fixtures also maximize the selection of fabric, crafts and sewing notions while providing a more comfortable shopping experience. “Our Carmel location is a new concept store and we are excited to show it to our customers,” said Cheryl McDonald, senior vice president of store operations. “This format was conceived with our customer in mind and we believe it will allow us to offer a greater selection of products and services to our valued customers in the Hamilton County area.”
The company will commemorate the occasion with a Grand Opening event on Sept. 6, at the 2192 East 116th Street location that will include one-day only specials, expanded sale items and drawings for gift cards. The store will open at 8 a.m. to kick off this event.
