Barbara Jeanne Jeffries, 86, of Carmel, died Oct. 3.
Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Oct. 6 in Leppert Mortuary – Carmel, with calling at 4 p.m.
Jeffries was a noted musician, founder of the Orchestral Program at Pike High School, and a founding member of the Carmel Symphony Orchestra. She leaves behind, children, Rebecca (John) Long and Richard Jeffries, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
