Hamilton County Medical Reserve Corps hosts emergency preparedness event

Doug Murray, Carmel, listens as Linda Foley (right) Hamilton County Medical Reserve Corps coordinator and Caroline Gredler (center) MRC recruiter, explain how the volunteer group serves the community in an emergency.  The MRC, along with other emergency preparedness  organizations, held an emergency preparedness event for families May 6 at Carmel High School.  The Medical Reserve Corps will hold a new member orientation on Saturday, May 16 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Hamilton County Health Department.

Anyone who is interested in joining the Medical Reserve Corps is welcome to attend.  People can volunteer for the MRC whether or not they have medical training or skills.
