On May 30, The Knights of Columbus in Fishers is organizing a charitable, outdoor clean up and firewood chopping for a local family in need. The family’s father, Tim Beach, has recently undergone a double lung transplant and is currently recovering from the operation.

The Beach family’s (McCordsville) home operates on a wood burning stove for heat. Currently, there is an abundant source of wood on their property that needs to be split and stacked, as well as other yard work. While Tim is recovering from his operation, Knights of Columbus is asking for individuals to volunteer their time to help in this charitable endeavor.
