Approximately 200 Volunteers are needed to help with the upcoming CarmelFest Independence Day Celebration (July 3-4) at 1 Civic Square, Carmel.  Volunteer spots are open on July 3 from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and on July 4 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.  Shift times average 2 hours in length.  If you like, you can volunteer with a friend or come with a group!   Volunteers will work in several different areas including working in the KidZone, helping with Freedom Run, welcoming guests and assisting with parking, aiding vendors, setting up and tearing down, selling spark buttons and working behind the scenes.  All volunteers will receive a free CarmelFest T-shirt and play an important role in making this festival possible.

Volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome.  This is also a great opportunity for young people to earn service hours.  If you are able to volunteer even for one short two-hour shift, please go to the volunteer section of the www.CarmelFest.net website or send an email to [email protected]  or call 418-7327.

CarmelFest is an annual festival, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Carmel, with free admission and parking.  Highlights of the festival include two days of live entertainment on three stages, KidZone with rides, games & petting zoo, variety of foods, arts & crafts vendors, the CarmelFest Parade and spectacular fireworks show.  All net proceeds from CarmelFest are used to benefit local organizations in the greater Carmel community.
