Approximately 200 Volunteers are needed to help with the upcoming CarmelFest Independence Day Celebration (July 3-4) at 1 Civic Square, Carmel. Volunteer spots are open on July 3 from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and on July 4 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Shift times average 2 hours in length. If you like, you can volunteer with a friend or come with a group! Volunteers will work in several different areas including working in the KidZone, helping with Freedom Run, welcoming guests and assisting with parking, aiding vendors, setting up and tearing down, selling spark buttons and working behind the scenes. All volunteers will receive a free CarmelFest T-shirt and play an important role in making this festival possible.
Volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome. This is also a great opportunity for young people to earn service hours. If you are able to volunteer even for one short two-hour shift, please go to the volunteer section of the www.CarmelFest.net website or send an email to volunteer@CarmelFest.net or call 418-7327.
