Akard True Value Hardware will hold a Hot Dog! It’s Friday! lunch and bake sale from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 14. The meal will include a hotdog, chips and baked goods for a donation to the Z’Sparkle Party and Drag Race to End Alzheimer’s. The drag race will take place at 8 p.m. Aug. 14 along Main Street.
