Mayor John Ditslear was among one of the five judges that judged three categories of pies in the pro division and the homemade division at the Noblesville Farmers Market on Aug. 22.

Judging took place at approximately 11 a.m. The three categories were cream pies, fruit pies and other. First, second and third place ribbons were awarded to the sub category winners.

Paul Wood, market master with the Noblesville Main Street Association had two of his granddaughters participate as judges.

“We do it just because it’s fun and something easy we can do at a Farmers Market,” Wood said.

First place: Eva Clark, pecan pie

Second place: Joseph Zook, moon pie

Pro division, cream category winners:

First place: Kellie Moucare, sugar cream pie

Second place: Alyona Puckett, sugar cream pie

Pro division, fruit category winners:

First place: Kuntryside Bakery, apple pie

Second place: My Sugar Pie, Dutch apple pie

Homemade division, other category winners:

First place: Suzanne Snelling, cherry custard pie

Second place: Julie Tigges, pumpkin pie

Homemade division, cream category winners:

First place: Candis Wood, sugar cream pie

Second place: Julie Tigges, chocolate cream pie

Homemade division, fruit category winners:

First place: Amy Shankland, peach pie
