“It is a true honor to be recognized by the Indiana Health Care Association for our 25-year commitment to seniors and our community,” said Sue Hamaker, executive director of Sanders Glen. “Our goal is to continue to exceed the expectations of our residents and their families and to make this a positive work environment for our valued team members.”

Sanders Glen is located in the heart of Westfield, along the Midland Trace Trail, at 334 S. Cherry St. Visitors are welcome to tour the center at any time.

You can often find team members and residents of Sanders Glen active at community events.

“We volunteer at the Westfield Farmer’s Market, lend our handicap accessible bus to the city for use during their community events, and our residents even knit red scarves for the city’s volunteers to wear during the annual holiday Westfield in Lights,” Hamaker said.

Sanders Glen strives for “unique” when it comes to events and activities. Just one month on the facility’s summer calendar shows a play at Tarkington Theater, a lunch outing, drum circle, Indians baseball game and a trip to the Indianapolis Zoo.

“The most amazing and fantastic thing about Sanders Glen is our residents and staff,” Hamaker said. “Our leadership team is believed to have the longest tenure of all assisted living facilities in Hamilton County.”
