With so many businesses in the Fishers area, it could take weeks to be able to get to experience each one personally, but OneZone, the Carmel and Fishers collaborated Chamber of Commerce makes it easy to do so all in one place during their Business Expo and Food Forum. On Oct. 21 from 4:30 to 7 p.m., approximately 90 businesses and restaurants from Carmel and Fishers will come together to interact with the public.

“It’s just a culmination of regular, traditional businesses and restaurants so it’s all about business to business and business to consumer. The public is invited,” OneZone Event Coordinator Carol Doehrman said. “It’s more just for business exposure. It is a great way for businesses to meet and greet their potential clients, customers and consumers. We will have quite a large restaurant presence there, so they’ll be doing tastings so it’s a great way for you as a public person to try some restaurants that you have not tried. We currently have 16 restaurants signed up.”

This year marks the third year of the Business Expo and Food Forum at the Forum Conference Center. The venue is literally packed with businesses, something OneZone is quite proud of.

“Forum is so generous to us,” Doehrman said. “They let us use the entire downstairs of their headquarters. They have a huge event space that can hold about 60 booths in there and then out in the bigger lobby; that’s where we feature our sponsors and then when we get past that space we start moving into hallways. 90 is really a nice size.”

There will be tastings from local restaurants Peterson’s, Sullivan’s Steakhouse, Wings, Etc., Tilly’s Tea Room, Flamme Burger and more.

Businesses will also feature raffles to win prizes giveaways. Beer wine and soft drinks will be available for purchase. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased ahead of time or at the door.
