Students dedicate Little Free Library

0

Students from Mrs. Harger’s second grade class at Hinkle Creek Elementary School in Noblesville completed a yearlong project to dedicate a Little Free Library. Students in the class said they wanted to address the issue of everyone having access to books and researched and planned the project themselves. Students presented to the principal, coordinated with an area homeowner’s association, worked with the school custodian, raised funds, designed the structure and promoted the project. They celebrated the opening recently with a ribbon cutting. Those interested in donating children’s books for the project can drop them off at Hinkle Creek.
