Calvin “Cal” Arnold, 92, Noblesville, died June 15 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. He was born May 13, 1924 to E.D. and Marie (Ditmier) Arnold in Middletown, Ohio.
Cal proudly served his country in the United States Navy and received a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University in 1950. For 60 years, he owned C.D. Arnold Company, retiring in 2005.
Cal is survived by son Mel (Colette) Arnold, daughter Denise Henke, sister Nancy Ausberger, brothers Jim (Audrey) Elliott and Dr. Steve (Kaye) Elliott, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents E.D. Arnold, and Marie Elliott, wife Margaret Marie Arnold on April 30, 2010, brother David Elliott and sister Janette O’Harold.
