Central Indiana Orthopedics has announced plans to expand its Fishers operations with a $13 million investment into a new 50,000-square-foot medical-office facility in the city.

The facility would be located directly east of St. Vincent’s Hospital, where Central Indiana Orthopedics presently houses its Fishers-based operations.

“Central Indiana Orthopedics is already a great partner in the Fishers community and the decision to further invest in Fishers is very exciting,” Mayor Scott Fadness stated. “As an advanced leader in the field of orthopedics and sports medicine, the company embodies the innovation-driven vision that has become synonymous with Fishers.”

The building will be the first built on a 37-acre plot of land the company will purchase. The rest of the land will be ready for development, as the city hopes Central Indiana Orthopedics’ addition to the area will attract more medical developments to Fishers.

“The fact that Central Indiana Orthopedics isn’t just building a home for their business, but also investing in the broader vision for an emerging medical services and technology corridor is a true testament to the commitment to the Fishers community,” Fadness said. “This development will not only benefit our local economy, but the residents of Hamilton County will have access to state-of-the-art medical care.”
