Broadway’s “Cinderella” rolled into town and Where’s Amy had a blast getting Wig’d Out at a behind-the-scenes backstage tour at Clowes Memorial Hall. “Cinderella” dazzled the audience with the classic fairy tale story turned modern, earning a well-deserved standing ovation. Guests of all ages who attended the show gave it a spectacular two thumbs up. I had a chance to go backstage to see the clever, quirky wigs and elegant, colorful costumes and ran into a few local residents from Carmel and Fishers who were working hard alongside the professional Broadway cast and crew. Where’s Amy got to meet Broadway star Leslie Jackson (Marie) in her dressing room minutes before she was ready to adorn her magical tree horn inspired wig. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love Broadway and supporting the arts.
