Veneta F. Yancey, 87, Noblesville, died Dec. 6 at The Lodge Assisted Living in Noblesville. She was born June 13, 1929 to Luther & Pauline (Barrickman) Baldwin in Cleveland, Ind.
Veneta had been a LPN at Riverview Hospital and the former Harrell Hospital in Noblesville and was a member of Refuge Christian Church in Noblesville. She loved traveling, quilting, reading and spending time with her family at family reunions.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Yancey, daughters Janalee (James) Brown and Andrea (Steve Carmer) Yancey, grandchildren Rachel Brown, Megan Schwaiger, Kyle Wickliff and Stacie Wickliff, great-grandchildren, Carson, Emma and Makenzie, son-in-law Bruce Wickliff and sisters Esther Hulett and Hazel Scherer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter Annette Wickliff and siblings Ruby Cole, Elmer Baldwin, Walter Baldwin and Claude Baldwin.
