Where’s Amy attended Kenny Rogers’ Final World Tour: The Gambler’s Last Deal at the Palladium with special guests Linda Davis (Wife of country singer Lang Scott and mother of Hillary Scott of “Lady Antebellum”) and up and coming guitarist Joe Robinson. Fans from surrounding states and cities flocked the venue to get a chance to see Rogers for the last time. Although he performed most of the concert from a stool he still charmed the lady fans with some of his most romantic top hits including “Lady,” “We’ve Got Tonight,” “She Believes in Me” and “Through the Years.” Rogers also rallied up the excited crowd with video flashbacks of his film hits “The Gambler” and “Coward of the County.” He has sold more than 120 million albums worldwide, making him one of the top ten best-selling male solo artists of all time. What a treat it was to see a true country legend perform right here in our own backyard at the Center for the Performing Arts. Hats off to Country Music Hall of Famer, pop superstar and multiple Grammy winning artist Kenny Rogers for one unforgettable concert.
