A local hospital responded to a traumatic event early this morning that required 30 units of type O blood. Indiana Blood Center’s inventory is now depleted, placing the community’s health at risk, according to a release from IBC.
Donors are urgently needed today through the weekend and are asked to call 800-632-4722 extension 5150 or visit one of six Indiana Blood Center locations.
The Carmel, Fishers, Greenwood, Lafayette, and Terre Haute donor centers are open until 7 p.m. today. The Indianapolis location is open until 4 p.m.
On Thursday, all locations except Lafayette are open until 7 p.m.
