Here’s a look at what’s been happening with businesses in Hamilton County this month.

Stratosphere Quality recently announced plans to expand its Fishers headquarters to a 46,000-square-foot building at 12024 Exit 5 Pkwy. It plans to invest $3.7 million into the expansion. With the expansion, there is an expected growth of 250 positions.

Portillo’s held a ground-breaking ceremony at its new Fishers location at the 116th Street and I-69 interchange on June 2. Portillo’s Chief Executive Officer Keith Kinsey attended the event.

An All-County Chamber Luncheon will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 12 at 11313 USA Pkwy., Fishers. The luncheon will focus on local leadership. For more, visit westfield-chamber.org.

Pedego Electric Bikes of Carmel celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony June 5. The shop is at 254 1st Ave SW Suite E, Carmel.

In Maythe Carmel Plan Commission approved plans for the Shoppes at Weston Pointe, two buildings totaling 18,558 square feet on 3.69 acres at 10801 N. Michigan Road. One building is planned to house a restaurant, and the other will be a multi-tenant building.

Garmong Construction, on behalf of the Carmel Redevelopment Authority, is seeking approval for a four-story, 308-space parking garage at 526 S. Range Line Road as part of the Midtown development.

Carmel Coffee is seeking site and building modifications to add a drive thru to an existing building for a new coffee shop at 240 E. Main St. The existing building is 1,800 square feet on .27 acres.

Indie Coffee Roasters is seeking to make site improvements at 220 E. Main Street for a new coffee shop.

CRG Residential is seeking to rezone 9 acres to PUD/Planned Unit Development to develop approximately 195 apartments at 4538 E. 96th St. The site is currently zoned B-3/Business.

Snapped 3D will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. June 14 to celebrate its grand opening. Snapped 3D, 126 W. Carmel Drive, creates custom 3D figurines.

Riverview Health has announced the hiring of Nikki Swiney as the new vice president of Riverview Health Physicians. She will be responsible for daily operations, strategic management and process improvement for all Riverview Health Physicians practices, wellness services, sports and fitness programs, long-term care and laboratory.

A ribbon cutting was held for TCC/Verizon at 17535 Terry Lee Crossing June 2. The store is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Janus Developmental Services, Inc. reopened the Noblesville Golf & Batting Center, 17400 Willowview Rd., June 1. The sports recreation complex, which houses a full driving range, miniature golf course, batting cages and more, was closed last fall upon its sale to Janus, which remodeled and updated the 19.2-acre property. Janus plans to build its new headquarters on the east side of the property next to its current headquarters at 1555 Westfield Rd.

Last month, three Marsh grocery stores in Hamilton County closed, one at 8766 E. 96th St. in Fishers, one at 1960 E. Greyhound Pass in Carmel and one at 17901 River Ave. in Noblesville. The company has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and is expected to close all of its remaining stores in July or earlier if a buyer does not purchase the company.

Bowl 32, the bowling center on Ind. 32 at 832 Westfield Rd. in Noblesville, is looking to build an addition to its facility.

JDS International, Inc., is constructing a new, 16,958-square-foot office and warehouse building at its headquarters at 15321 Herriman Blvd. JDS was established in Noblesville in 2006 and is a manufacturer of aircraft and military vehicle engine kits, parts and components.

A new parking lot for Pizza King at 1212 S. Ninth St. may soon be developed. The lot would include 10 parking spaces. The store is owned by Al Robertson.

Last month, Fresh to Order, which cooks its food from scratch, opened at the former Paradise Bakery and Café at Hamilton Town Center. Owner Charlie Hensley plans to open 10 Fresh to Order stores in the Indianapolis area.

Pulte Homes is developing a 35-lot, single-family, residential subdivision on 33 acres, north of the Cherry Tree Road and Kippford Street intersection. The subdivision will be known as Manors at Lochaven.

A multipurpose development, 32 Union, is being planned for the property located east of Union Chapel Road at Pleasant Street. Developed by TWG Development, LLC and Weihe Engineers, the development could contain seven apartment buildings (210 units), a maintenance building/carwash, an amenity area with a pool, dog park and volleyball and basketball courts. The project also could include a secondary playground  for a single-lot subdivision.

O’Reilly Auto Parts will come to Noblesville at 2000 E. Conner St. B&R Noblesville, LLC will own the store. This will be the first O’Reilly store in Noblesville. Three other locations exist in Hamilton County, in Carmel, Fishers and Westfield.

Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling recently was given the Dave Lennox Award by LennoxPROs. The award is given to companies that consistently provide clients with first-rate installation and customer service. Summers is located at 15580 Herriman Blvd. in Noblesville.

Universal Blower Pac, Inc. is constructing an addition to its property at 330 Park 32 West Dr. for additional parking and a secondary plat for a single lot. Earlier this year, the company purchased two acres to the west of its current facility and plans to build 8,925 square feet of distribution and warehouse space. The company was founded by Ray Fiechter in 1979 and opened its Noblesville headquarters in 1984. The company provides innovation for manufactured blower systems and engineered solutions.

Construction plans for the Havenwood subdivision went through the Noblesville Technical Advisory Committee last month. The development will house 45 residential homes in the 20300 and 20400 blocks on the east side of Hinkle Road. M/I Homes of Indiana are the developers.

The Noblesville Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed these new members: LEAP Managed IT, Secret Families Christmas Charity of Hamilton County, Dana Dillard,Onpointe Land Matters LLC, Carkeepers, Rose Senior Living, Reggie’s Motorworks Inc., Restored Elegance Homes, TCC and Ronda Thompson/TaSNap1181.

Janus Developmental Services, Inc. reopened the Noblesville Golf & Batting Center, 17400 Willowview Rd., June 1. The sports recreation complex, which houses a full driving range, miniature golf course, batting cages and more, was closed last fall upon its sale to Janus, which remodeled and updated the 19.2-acre property. Janus plans to build its new headquarters on the east side of the property next to its current headquarters at 1555 Westfield Rd.

Last month, three Marsh grocery stores in Hamilton County closed, one at 8766 E. 96th St. in Fishers, one at 1960 E. Greyhound Pass in Carmel and one at 17901 River Ave. in Noblesville. The company has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and is expected to close all of its remaining stores in July or earlier if a buyer does not purchase the company.

Bowl 32, the bowling center on Ind. 32 at 832 Westfield Rd. in Noblesville, is looking to build an addition to its facility.

JDS International, Inc., is constructing a new, 16,958-square-foot office and warehouse building at its headquarters at 15321 Herriman Blvd. JDS was established in Noblesville in 2006 and is a manufacturer of aircraft and military vehicle engine kits, parts and components.

A new parking lot for Pizza King at 1212 S. Ninth St. may soon be developed. The lot would include 10 parking spaces. The store is owned by Al Robertson.

Last month, Fresh to Order, which cooks its food from scratch, opened at the former Paradise Bakery and Café at Hamilton Town Center. Owner Charlie Hensley plans to open 10 Fresh to Order stores in the Indianapolis area.

Pulte Homes is developing a 35-lot, single-family, residential subdivision on 33 acres, north of the Cherry Tree Road and Kippford Street intersection. The subdivision will be known as Manors at Lochaven.

A multipurpose development, 32 Union, is being planned for the property located east of Union Chapel Road at Pleasant Street. Developed by TWG Development, LLC and Weihe Engineers, the development could contain seven apartment buildings (210 units), a maintenance building/carwash, an amenity area with a pool, dog park and volleyball and basketball courts. The project also could include a secondary playground  for a single-lot subdivision.

O’Reilly Auto Parts will come to Noblesville at 2000 E. Conner St. B&R Noblesville, LLC will own the store. This will be the first O’Reilly store in Noblesville. Three other locations exist in Hamilton County, in Carmel, Fishers and Westfield.

Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling recently was given the Dave Lennox Award by LennoxPROs. The award is given to companies that consistently provide clients with first-rate installation and customer service. Summers is located at 15580 Herriman Blvd. in Noblesville.

Universal Blower Pac, Inc. is constructing an addition to its property at 330 Park 32 West Dr. for additional parking and a secondary plat for a single lot. Earlier this year, the company purchased two acres to the west of its current facility and plans to build 8,925 square feet of distribution and warehouse space. The company was founded by Ray Fiechter in 1979 and opened its Noblesville headquarters in 1984. The company provides innovation for manufactured blower systems and engineered solutions.

Construction plans for the Havenwood subdivision went through the Noblesville Technical Advisory Committee last month. The development will house 45 residential homes in the 20300 and 20400 blocks on the east side of Hinkle Road. M/I Homes of Indiana are the developers.

Here’s a look at what’s been happening with businesses in Hamilton County this month.

Stratosphere Quality recently announced plans to expand its Fishers headquarters to a 46,000-square-foot building at 12024 Exit 5 Pkwy. It plans to invest $3.7 million into the expansion. With the expansion, there is an expected growth of 250 positions.

Portillo’s held a ground-breaking ceremony at its new Fishers location at the 116th Street and I-69 interchange on June 2. Portillo’s Chief Executive Officer Keith Kinsey attended the event.

In Maythe Carmel Plan Commission approved plans for the Shoppes at Weston Pointe, two buildings totaling 18,558 square feet on 3.69 acres at 10801 N. Michigan Road. One building is planned to house a restaurant, and the other will be a multi-tenant building.

Garmong Construction, on behalf of the Carmel Redevelopment Authority, is seeking approval for a four-story, 308-space parking garage at 526 S. Range Line Road as part of the Midtown development.

Carmel Coffee is seeking site and building modifications to add a drive thru to an existing building for a new coffee shop at 240 E. Main St. The existing building is 1,800 square feet on .27 acres.
