Harold D. Thompson, 90, Noblesville, died July 23 at his home. He was born Dec. 11, 1926, to Fred and Grace (Kutz) Thompson in Boone County.

Harold proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Elks Club and the American Legion. A lover of golf, he retired from Forest Park Golf Course and was a member of Fox Prairie Men’s Golf Club. Harold owned Noblesville Golf Driving Range and Happy Harold’s Christmas Trees, and enjoyed flea markets, auctions and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by wife Virginia Thompson, son David (Denise) Thompson, daughter Theresa Moon, grandchildren Kent, Wendy, Jeff, Brad, Brent and Amy, several great-grandchildren, sister Katheryn Thompson, brother Arnold (Rayelda) Thompson and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by sister Geneva Thompson and brothers Keith and Bernard Thompson.
