The Fishers Fire Foundation will host a chili cook-off from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 29 at Wasson Nursery, 13279 E. 126th St. The event is open to all ages, and tickets are $10 per person. Tickets are available at fun.fishersfirefoundation.org.
A ticket provides six samples of different chilis. Proceeds will benefit the Fishers Fire Foundation general fund. The Fishers Fire Foundation helps support firefighters by providing programs to supplement the city’s resources, providing for scholarships for children of firefighters and helping those in need in the community.
