Gala on the Farm will feature a full dinner menu with various artisan food stations, craft cocktails, a beer and wine bar and live jazz and pop music by the Kenny Phelps Trio. Guests will be transported in horse-drawn wagons from on-site parking to the event entrance. The event is billed as an enchanted evening of food, libation and dancing under the stars.

The menu will include an artisan cheese and charcuterie display, a hand-crafted dips and dollops display, seasonal garden shooter and salad station, chef-carved beef tenderloin and turkey station and chef-attended beef and shrimp slider station and assorted desserts.

Cynthia Young, executive director of the SullivanMunce Cultural Center, said the event replaces the Artisans’ Fare and is designed to bring together people that have a passion for what SullivanMunce offers the community. The center is the sole repository for Boone County and Zionsville historical artifacts and houses the largest privately funded genealogy collection in the region. It also offers art classes and exhibits.

“Our visitors seek to explore our museum collections and historical exhibits and to research important cultural documents, photographs, art and artifacts,” Young said. “(They ca)  research family histories in our genealogy library, the largest privately owned genealogy collections in the region with more than 4,000 volumes (and) view art center exhibits from the local and regional community in our galleries and take in art classes, camps and workshops in our studio classrooms.”

Young said events like Gala on the Farm help raise awareness for the nonprofit and funding to continue to make its programs available to the community.

Proceeds benefit the SullivanMunce Cultural Center. Cocktail attire is suggested. All-inclusive tickets are $100. For more or to purchase tickets, visit sullivanmunce.org.
