Magenta Marketing Communications opened in August and wants to assist small Indiana businesses with marketing and communications needs. MMC is a subset of dgs Marketing Engineers in Fishers, which specializes in advanced manufacturing technologies.
“For the last 32 years we’ve been very specialized in that industry, but most of our clients aren’t actually in Indiana,” said Leslie Galbreath, CEO of MMC. “As time has gone on we wanted to get more involved in our local community. What we’ve been able to do on the dgs side is develop a very reliable, repeatable results-proven process for solving tough communications challenges. What we’re doing with Magenta is bringing that knowledge and skill set to the local community.”
Galbreath and her business partner, Marc Diebold, want MMC to focus solely on small Indiana businesses, startups and nonprofits.
“Both Marc and I live in Fishers. We are focused on what we refer to as doing good work that’s good for the world,” Galbreath said. “We want to help local small businesses in the Fishers/central Indiana area grow their businesses using the skill set we’ve built working with these tremendous global companies.”
DGS employees work simultaneously for MMC.
“Big agency services can sometimes be expensive, intimidating and not accessible to smaller businesses and nonprofits,” Galbreath said. “Our employees work across both businesses, and I think that’s one of the things that is such a benefit to our Magenta clients. The idea is to make sure all of our clients have access to the same talent.”
MMC looks forward to getting to know the Fishers community a little better.
“There are a lot of entrepreneurial folks here in Fishers that want to start things in their community. It’s really exciting for us to reconnect with local networks. The entire team is really passionate about it,” Galbreath said.
