The free event will run from 6 to 8 p.m. DJ KB will play music. There will be dancing in the main room, and several other rooms will have activities, such as games for attendees and massages for parents. There will be a red carpet entrance with “paparazzi” photographers and limo rides around the parking lot.

This is the first time Northview has participated in this international event. More than 450 churches around the world are planning to host the event on the same night.

Kurt Brodbeck, family ministry pastor at Northview, said more than 200 people have registered and more than 400 people have signed up to volunteer.

“We’re just fired up,” he said.

Once inside, guests will receive the royal treatment. Each will be crowned king or queen of the prom. There will be prom dresses and makeup stations available as well.

“We just want to love on people in our community,” Brodbeck said. “These are important people created in the image of God, and we want to create a night that they won’t forget.”

The Tim Tebow Foundation has committed more than $3.5 million in financial support to hundreds of churches needing assistance in hosting the event.
