Snapshot: Inaugural CoderDojo program a success

CoderDojo is starting a second series teaching coding to youth after a successful first term that lasted almost four months and included approximately 100 students. The free global program is a volunteer-led coding club initiated locally by Clear Software. “The whole idea is that it needs to be free,” Clear Software founder Jon Gilman said. Four courses were offered in the first term: intro, robotics, websites and an advanced class. The second semester will run for eight weeks from March 4 through May 6.
