Michael Ray Short, 47, of Carmel, died on March 3 at his home. He was born on Jan. 9, 1971, in Bentonville, Ark.
Mike graduated from Butler University and worked for Coronado Development Corporation for 20 years, serving as president since 2014. He enjoyed shooting sports and coin collecting. The most important role in Mike’s life was being a father to Darren.
He is survived by his parents, Karen and Ron Mayer; son, Darren Short; fiancée, Carla Everhart; brothers, Martin (Vicki) Short and Mickey Short; and his uncle, Karlos Davidson.
Services will be held at 6 p.m. March 8, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with visitation from 4 p.m. to the time of service. Rev. Stanley R. Sutton will officiate. Burial will take place at Benton County Memorial Gardens in Rogers, Ark.
