When I read about the planned school walkout on March 14, I was surprised by the negative online feedback. There were many opinions, but I think students should choose whether or not they want to walk out. This is a bold move by Zionsville Community Schools. This has started a debate online that I wanted to address as a sixth-grader. This is not just a trendy stunt – it is about trying to save lives.
