CruZionsville celebrated the 70th anniversary of the Porsche from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 2 with its eighth annual community event on Main Street. The free event was open to the public. Car-lovers of all ages raised money for the Alzheimer’s Association by either registering their own Porsche to be judged by a panel of experts and celebrity judges or by making a donation or participating in other fundraising opportunities throughout the day. Porsche registration was $45 per car, with a special VIP parking and early registration for $130 per car. During the past several years, CruZionsville has raised more than $92,000 for Alzheimer’s research. (photos by Sara Baldwin Schatz)
