“Pulling for Ella” is the slogan of this weekend’s Antique Tractor Pull at the Hamilton County 4-H Fair.

The fair begins today, but on Saturday, July 21, the Central Indiana Antique Tractor & Engine Association will focus its annual Antique Tractor Pull on Ella Whistler, the student survivor of the May 25 shooting at West Middle School.

Whistler’s dad, Cory, is a longtime member of the nonprofit that works to preserve agricultural heritage. Buckets will be passed around in the audience taking donations for the Whistler family. In addition, all profits, including registration fees, from the pull will benefit the family.

The pull begins at 1 p.m. at the tractor pull strip on the southeast side of the Hamilton County 4-H Fairgrounds, 2003 Pleasant St., Noblesville. Registration is ongoing, with single hook costing $15 and double tree costing $30. General admission is free.
